Extremely beautiful and interesting bird!

If I didn't know the parentage, would have been hard pressed to guess it. It looks Way different from the usual guinea hybrid for sure. Interesting how the long legs, neck and upright stance is dominant. Really like that beautiful barring on wings and tail.

Hello Bemba. Nice to see your youngster getting bigger and more beautiful. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and when I first saw a guinea three years ago I said "holy crap that thing is ugly." Now I am surrounded by them, I love them and think they are a very noble and distinguished looking bird. My "kids" make the sweetest little whistly noise at me when I check on them at night. They are now grown and I love to carry them around and snuggle with them. Their feathers are surprisingly soft too. But enough of that I could romanticize about them forever....I am not an expert but I think your youngern looks to be male. Either way though he is a beautiful critter and I for one am always happy to see an update on him. Take Care
