Very unusual chick, Guinea / chicken hybrid!!

I think your guinea hybrids are a lot easier on the eye than silkies, frizzles, frazzles and sizzles. I also have a hard time looking at naked necks, but I would like to see a naked neck/guinea cross at least once.

Maybe I'll try a naked neck frizzle rooster next time

LOL I've seen a frizzled chicken / pheasant hybrid, didn't do much for me. I've still got eggs coming so could get naked neck hybrids yet.

WOW, only could I dream of being able to create something like this, I just don't have the skills to even begin to think how this would happen. I was only able to get other peoples hybrids and then pretend I created pied Java Peafowl in Australia, hehe, shhhhhhh its a secret! I have a few hybrid pictures from a few years back I will see if I can figure out how to use my computer and post them here, I am very useless on computers

Here is Guinook today, he/she has really filled out and has become more patterned with white. This guy is very friendly and follows me around, it's sibling is totally wild and nothing like this one.

I'm going to pen this rooster to some Guinea hens this spring LOL

HI Bemba! Long time since I posted to your forum, but nice to talk to you again! Is this your little cutie from last year? I hope so, did he ever get a name? I was shooting for miracle, but either way he/she is still amazing! and i am so happy to see him still in existence despite what some were saying.....anywho water under the bridge i suppose. Anyway you might be starting a new breed here, this could be history in the making. Ok maybe i just get esxcited easily. Anyway just wanted to say hi to you and your special bird...

Yes this is them all grown up and doing great! My 2 new babies are growing so quickly, they can fly now! Will post some more pics soon, good to hear form you :)

Chicks doing really well, did I mention there are now 3? How different is this guy? With his older brother :love What a unique bunch of babies... 2 hybrids, a Masked Lapwing, 2 cinnamon pied guineas and a silver pied guinea :th I have them toilet trained :lau Latest addition to the clan is now up and pecking!
Where did the masked lapwing come from is it yours? Do you raise them?
