Hello everyone. I’m sad to say that she unfortunately passed away sometime during the night or early morning. I’m not sure why, because she seemed to be doing much better than when I found her!

I wish I could have saved her. Even though she would have died anyway, I thought I could rescue her and then she would have a good life…but I guess I was wrong.

So sorry. I wish the employees at these "chicken mills" would pay more attention to their chicks. You gave her all you could and I am sure she recognized a loving voice.

Feed her raw egg yolk, it is the best she can get right now, great nutrition, and easy to digest.
Does sound like splayed led.

Also, would force feeding it cause too much stress? I don’t want to kill it from over handling or stressing it out.

Do not force anything down their throat. Use a needle less syringe while holding
her in your hand & slowly drip the liquid on the beak. Forcing liquid down her throat can drown her. Also check for pasty butt- feces stuck on vent. Treatment is warm water applied to area with a soft cloth to dissolve the block. Good luck.
