Very weird egg

I could not find a good forum for this, so here goes. A friend asked me what was up with this egg. This is a grocery store egg, so chick isn't an option. Any ideas?

Chalazae probably. That's a big example of it, but I wouldn't have a guess as to what else it could be...

Whoa...really strange!!

Hopefully it's just 'membrane gone really awry'.

Maybe over twisted membrane(which is how the chalazae is formed) that broke free?
