I am glad to hear she is doing better! I would start to give her oyster shell(if you are not already) all the time...never stop giving it to her. Once getting back out recover should be soon, but the cold might mess it up a bit. Make sure she has lots of straw...and she should be fine then!Quackers stayed in 3 days, getting calcium twice a day, and is back outside. I can't tell if she’s eating less or if the cold is making them all eat less (or if a vermin has been stealing food but stopped), but they didn't need a feed refill today. She doesn't seem as energetic, but seems much better and almost normal. How long should I keep giving her oral calcium? How long does recovery take, and the temperature is starting to dip to the 30s, does that need extra precautions during her recovery?
Can my Mom buy them from the vitamin section at the store? Are they the tablets? Or is it something we need to get from Tractor Supply?I am glad to hear she is doing better!
