VERY WORRYING

Im very sorry :( hatching is very hard and some chicks just aren't strong enough to handle the stress of hatching. Maybe this is a sign, go out and buy feed and supplies next time you get a chance, THEN hatch silkie chicks! :) then you'll have everything ready and no stress for you!
I will still open it gently just to see i may be wrong well hopefully i am

I cracked the shell open without damaging the membrain and i will leave the egg until tomorrow morning and hopefully it will survive

I believe its dead no motion no sound or reaction to any noise
Shaky hands are okay, just don't lift the egg off the base, so you don't drop it. Just grasp the wider end and pull ... gently. if you're worried about touching it, use a spoon, but again, gently!
If you don't remove the wide end of the shell, you're pretty much guaranteed a dead chick. If you do, and the baby is already gone, so be it, you did what you could. If you remove the shell and it lives, then you've just saved a life.
And ... what @HuskerHens18 said ... count this as a difficult lesson and next time (and there CAN be a next time, it's not all heartache) get everything ready - including your knowledge base - ahead of time. You can do this! And it is SO worth it when it all comes together!

Make sure your humidity is good before you turn in. If the baby is alive and the membrane dries out, it may not be able to get free. It's called shrink-wrapping.

I'm so sorry! I had the same thing happen last week. The egg pipped externally overnight, but the chick didn't make it. The poor baby died with it's little beak poking out. I wish I'd known, so I could have stayed up. It was the first time I'd lost one that close ... and I have to admit that I felt so badly I cried!
