vet in my area

Hi good afternoon! I do not have an emergency per se but I need to find a vet in my area who can help me with my pet chicken. I live in central MA but I know I might need to drive. The vets around me who see birds (Avian) will not see poultry for some reason! So I thought maybe the Community might know someone...?

My experience with this last week is because they give some medicine that are not safe for people. I found a vet who would treat my chicken but only if I promise to throw away all the chickens eggs for the rest of her life and she isn't even to laying age yet. If you can find a farm vet- they use safe for people meds after a period of time you could possibly eat the chicken/eggs.
