I changed her dressing today and the swelling is certainly going down. Looks much, much better already. I wish I had a video camera though. She's walking around like a guy on the beach with only one scuba flipper.

Just for "next" time. Several people use a Penicillin injection into the foot 2x per day for 5 days.

Doing the surgery ain't that bad. It would have been the anestesia that would have freaked me out! I just roll the chicken onto it's back and it takes a little snooze from the world...LOL

That is adorable though! Little foot...how cute! lol

To bad you didn't get two of those- you'd have snowshoes! My girls could use some.

Nice to see progress! This could have cost a lot more than $47, with that prosthesis...they must have charged you for the visit only?
