3cc per gal water? The vet figured this dose from the cattle dosage on the bottle. I see here on BYC 9cc per gal? Would 3cc even do anything?

It's for a small flock of adult bantams and should be the 'treatment' dosage as one hen is ill (her poo sample tested neg, but cocci still suspected).

From the bottle (9.6% oral solution):
Maintenance - 8 fl oz per 100 gal water for 5 days
Treatment - 16 fl oz per 100 gal water for 5 days
1 fl oz = 29.57 ml

ETA - I keep getting 4.7ml/cc per gal (by just breaking down the 100 gal cattle dosage into 1 gal) but I may be doing it wrong? Can anyone help me figure this out?

Technically for chicks/chickens, dosage for the 9.6% liquid solution is 9.5cc's per gallon of water for 5 days.
