Hi I am currently treating a few chickens with this cream ( viadermk-c). I was wondering if anyone knows if we are supposed to stop using the eggs while they are being treated and if yes, for how long. My vet wasn't sure.

Yeast infection, externally, its not inside the cloac just around it.

Yeast infection, externally, its not inside the cloac just around it.

Something applied externally very likely is not going to be absorbed in eggs, but I don't think anyone can give you a concrete answer if your vet can't. You'll have to make that call for yourself after you do a bit of research on the ingredients.

Sometimes it can take a while to gather all the research and come to a conclusion.
I have not seen that specific product mentioned anywhere, so I don't have info on it.
