One of my hens, Rootie, an about 10 month old (I think... the woman I got her from 6 months ago is a show breeder and was getting rid of her because she wasn't "show quality" . She wasn't super sure how old she was.) has been standing funny with her butt and tail up recently. She has also been breathing heavily. She's been really thin, so we thought it might be worms, as she's eating and drinking normally. He poops range from totally normal to a little watery. We have felt for an egg, as I thought maybe she was egg bound, but she's so think that's is easy to feel around, and we don't feel anything. There is a little clicking when she breathes, but I listened to her lungs through a stethoscope, and I don't hear any water on her lungs.

I did give her an injection of Excede for the possible respiratory issue, and I gave her a dose of febendazole for the possible worms.

Please see the attached video and let me know what you think.

Rootie is very attached to her sister, Sneaker, who is laying on some eggs right now.

Thank you, as always.

Commenting to move back up since I got no input! Any ideas? Butt up? Heavy breathing? Anyone think it's good I've started her on antibiotics?

She has a more constant nasal clicking, so I think it is upper respiratory. But I'm still wondering why she's been standing funny.
