Vinyl Fence - Privacy Fencing?

We need a 6' tall privacy fence that is about 12 - 16 feet long.

I was going to just build a wood one, but my GF likes the idea of a vinyl fence.

I found these "cheap" ones:

... but she's leaning towards vinyl.

Anybody have experience with vinyl privacy fences?

My daughter has one and she loves it! It was more expensive to have installed than the wood, but it's less maintenance in the long run.

If that is a picture of you and your girlfriend, I'd STRONGLY suggest you do exactly what she tells you. Go Vinyl.

From the pic, I'd say you Out-Kicked your coverage if you know what I mean!!!!.... (sorry for the drool)

so don't mess it up and make her mad.

While you're at it, buy her some flowers and a really nice gift, diamonds and gold usually work well. Good luck and kindly keep us posted on the new Vinyl fence!

We needed (ok, I wanted) a screen for our GIANT propane tank. So, we used two 8 ft wood panel and I painted this. Much better than seeing the tank, as it faces our deck.

If money isn't the deciding factor I would go with the vinyl.
I have not had vinyl fence or composite but I have had plenty of wood fence. The slats on a wood fence will shrink, warp, sag, and need to be power washed and treated with a water sealer every couple of years. And you can still see through the cracks pretty good when the sun is just right if your primary goal is privacy.. my dog can still see my neighbor's dog move around and bark at him.
I vote listen to the girlfriend!
