I have seen the hens in person and the males molted tail but not the male in person when I visited Brad Leggs farm. They are gonna be something special. I can't wait til I can get a hold of some.

No it means that you cannot have a female that is a split, also a male violeta would produce hens that are violeta if crossed to a blue hen. It is the same as with purple, cameo, and peach (the other sex linked colors)
