I'm not exactly sure what you are asking, but it will be a long time before your pullets will need a rooster for any purpose other than to be a flock leader and protector. If you want a rooster to breed your pullets, wait until they are mature enough to mate, then get an older, mature rooster. A young, randy rooster will be too much for a young hen. The way I've read, you mate a young rooster to an older mature hen and a young hen to an older, more settled rooster.
 
I posted this on the other Va thread too, but figured I would post here as well. Is anybody going to the Greene County fair this evening? They're having the poultry show from 4-6 pm. Its the only reason I'm headed to the fair
