Thought it might be fun to connect with others from the Commonwealth! I'm from Gloucester (essentially Tidewater). A happy victim of chicken math, I have 3 Delawares, 3 Columbian Wyandottes, 4 Isa Browns, 4 Golden Polish, and 3 Golden Penciled Hamburgs. My first flock raised from chicks.... week 18 and so far so good. Adding a couple of pictures below. Would love to hear from others in Virginia.

Yes- I actually think I might have two. The one in the picture is the one I am certain of. I also have one of the Delawares that I'm prettt sure is a Cockerel. I'm trying to find homes (my zoning won't allow for roosters) but I'm not optimistic.

We have large dog cages to put them in. The cages will be tied down in the bed of our friends truck.
