My shopping list for Gilmanor:

• 1-3 SFH pullets
• 1-3 Blue Wheaten Ameraucana pullets
• 1-3 Cream Legbar pullets

Will consider chicks and hatching eggs. I will probably do one more hatching of my eggs and some others to close out the year.

So at this event there is a poultry sway n sell? Is it a pretty big event? I'm about 3 hours from richmond

LOL - I am about 3.5 - 4 hours away from the Gilmanor swap 'n sell. I attended in Gilmanor in May for the first time. I also went to Sharpsburg in MD in June. While the Sharpsburg swap 'n sell is known to be a large event, Gilmanor was over four times the size of Sharpsburg!

As far as weather goes, the latest forecast here in NOVA indictes good weather to hold out until midafternoon with storms coming thereafter. Since Richmond is farther east, hopefully, the good weather will last longer for the Gilmanor meet.

well, i'll have a few sfh chicks, 1 6 week old one, and I know leigh will have eggs and a couple younger ones (not sure if any are pullets but don't think so).
I'm also bringing some mixes, EE's, Dorking hens (12-18 months old), some bantam cochins (mille fleur, buff Columbian & a couple others). oh and a crested SFH roo (blue mille). decided I didn't want to breed crest to crest, so i'll get my crested babies from the girls side.

also bringing 2 brooders for sale. 1 new and 1 used but still in great shape (i'll be using it! LOL) I just decided I didn't need the extra, it's too hard having a stack of 3, the top one is a bit high the bottom one too low... so i'll be building a new shelf unit for the 2, complete with upgraded lighting and heat.

• LF and bantam BLRW pullets/hens
• partridge bantam cochin roo
• silver or gold laced bantam cochins
• red dorking rooster (not too likely but you never know!)
