I just moved to Carrollton, in Isle of Wight County. Will be building a new cooplet for my 2 silkie roos and 2 OEG hens.

I'm looking for a nearby feed store (or other source) to buy 2 new barred rock chicks this spring. Any ideas? I can't buy enough to make an order from McMurray. Unless someone wants to split an order, that is.

Hi we just moved out of Carrollton to Outer Banks. We visit there some times, do you know of a breeder in that area that may have 2-3 good egg producers for sale?

Did anyone else go to the Blue Ridge Folklife Festival over the weekend? What a PERFECT day to be in the mountains eating hot doughnuts, watching pulling contests, eating fried chicken, listening to live music, eating kettle corn, cheering on coondogs.... happy me.
