I purchased an adult breeding pair from him and the hen started laying eggs the second day she was here and hasn't stopped. Already have some great SLW chicks from them.

A couple of hours ago, as I was walking out onto the porch to grill supper, a large, beautiful red fox streaked out of the woods, grabbed one of my Australorp hens and disappeared back into the wood, amidst an incredible amount of squawking and carrying on. I stood there with a tray of meat in one hand and a spatula in the other and couldn't do a thing. ****! This was one of the original four hens I got from Maggie's Dad, last year...
