Virginia

This barn has been here for a few years so it should not pop up any surprises like that. Thanks I will post when we get it done. So excited. But I am worried about drafts. Does anuone else have a coop similar to this?

A good Heritage chicken can survive a lot - just protect fro major drafts and predators. They will especially enjoy riding that tractor. They love to perch on steering wheels

Lol my husband is going to have to find an new place for his lawn mower. We have decided we are going to close in the stall (the half wall you see) to the back. So the coop will be a little over 6'x5' and on the nest boxes will be about where th mower is. So excited can't wait to get it going but he has to work till Wednesday. We have 6 chicks about a week old so he needs to get moving.

Just suggestion.... Use 5 gallon bucket ls or any plastic tubs you can get for laying boxes
Much easier to clean and take care of
