LOL someone just asked that question last week... i see you know each other. LOL

and yes, I do. I'll be there on the 12th (second Saturday of each month).

the Floyd Amateur Radio Society (aka ham radio) meeting is at 9am at suite 4 at the Village Green. we meet at 8am unofficially for breakfast at the blue ridge diner.

I think it's so funny when a Bantam hatches out some LF. When the get older they're way bigger than mommy.

ok, I'm officially sick of the weather... more snow this morning (has melted at least!) but the wind has removed the roof off my new pens! granted I hadn't attached it permanently, but the pieces are no longer where they should be. I may just put a large tarp over it all and wait for the wind to die down before trying to move the large roofing pieces (4'x5' each) when the wind is gone...

A couple of years ago the wind got so bad that it blew the trampoline away...but not before making sure it took out our porch and grill then busting the windshield of my truck and leaving a huge dent and scratches! Yeah, all we had to do was follow the damage to find the trampoline down in the ravine across the driveway. Smart idea to wait too so you don't get blown over while holding that big of a piece;-)

wind can do crazy stuff!! I was on top of a very tall building for work once down in Norfolk and had to throw myself to the deck to avoid being taken off the roof by a flying sheet of metal roof decking.
