@Lyndssxo08 me too! I’m not violent but have thought about how I’d kill that fox if given the chance lol. So what color are Sarah’s eggs normally? Blue laced Wyandotte’s are so beautiful! There are so many breeds I’d love to have. My kids picked out our original girls as chicks at a farm, so I didn’t even know what they were until became obvious at a few months old lol

I have 4 blue birchen marans (they won’t be sexed so I’ll have to rehome a few boys. Hoping for at least 2 hens) 1 Smaaland, and 1 cream Legbar coming from greenfire farms~ I can’t wait!

I currently have 1 lt Brahma, 1 RIR and 1 Easter Egger. So excited for the diverse flock and egg colors. So that hopefully will give me a flock of about 7. Which I think will be perfect for my family of 5:love

Hi, fellow Virginians! I started keeping chickens in November of 2018, and am in Warrenton, VA. We have a mixed flock of 6 hens/pullets, and one cockerel. I also have 5 horses, 2 dogs, 2 cats, and a fish on our farm. Oh, and a husband (Pancho) and 3 littles, ages 8, 5 and 2. I am so happy to have joined BYC, as I have been reading and learning for many months here (well before actual chickens arrived, haha).

Here are pics of my brood:
