We live in Franklin County, and we're the proud owners of 7 "inherited" chickens, and six new chicks that we just bought yesterday. We've loved having the adult chickens, but didn't realize what fun the chicks could be. My three kids (17, 14 & 10) are madly in love with the chicks, and are having so much fun playing with them. We're on spring break this week, and I'm sure the kids will miss the babies next week when we're all back at school. I knew the big chickens all had their own quirky personalities, but it's funny how the little ones are already easy to tell apart, even though they look alike.

I'm so grateful for all the good info I've gained from this site. Thanks to all of you who've answered every question I have!
