Any suggestion from those of you on phones on how to make this easier to play?

maybe go slower?

Yeah it’s not easy, but maybe those who have multiple devices should have both out, and have two different screens on at once.

on my laptop, i can use some keyboard shortcuts that let me switch tabs (or windows)

I have no input on how to improve, I am on computer with two screen so I had BYC on one and the card on the other.
