Vitamin supplements

Can I provide my 1week old, 1month old and 4month old chicks daily with vitamin supplements mixed in water ? Is it safe?
Note : I feed them with government certified started and grower feeds.

It isn't necessary if you are feeding a complete feed made for the age groups you are feeding.

Why do you feel the need? I gave my ducklings save-A-chick vitamins when they hatched, but was told it wasn't necessary so I didn't continue feeding it. I don't win you will need the supplements unless the chicks have an existing issue. Good luck with them!

Assuming you're feeding a commercial diet, the only time you'd want to supplement with any vitamins is if you're treating a specific health issue. Such as like wry neck, which can be fixed by supplementing Vit E. Otherwise too much of any vitamin can become toxic if the body cannot flush out the excess.
