Vitamins?

Hubs has picked me up some vitamins from TCS..I'm new to chicken keeping, and learning the ropes. Will the vitamins be a great additive in their water? I believe he grabbed the Nutri -Drench Poultry brand.

edit- he just got home, it's durvet vitamins and electrolytes. No age limit..so will use it on the chicks too.

I try to add vits to my chicken's water at least once a week if not more. Silkies and polish chicks are more susceptible to wry neck that can be caused by a vitamin deficiency so I give vits to them every other day.

Durvet is what I use.its Good stuff, I use it every day in the winter and every 2 weeks or more in the summer. Its only 1/8 of a teaspoon per gallon. If kept dry 1 packet lasts me 2 months or more.

I do the durvet as well and I put it in every time I fill my gallon waterers.
