Vomiting hen

I just taged all my hens for first time and one was vomiting when I picked her up.....is that normal I know some animals vomit And poop to keep predators away or when they panic. Also one prolapsed going to clean and gently put back to see if it happened do to panicking.

Does she have any other issues or symptoms? It is definitely not normal for a chicken to vomit.

It is normal. ... when they had just drunk and eaten and you pick them up.

It is because they first store food/water in their crop, before it goes into the stomach.
When they panic and fidget, it is easily coming out.

Chicken do not panic so much as quail. If you grab a chicken left and right on the wings, it holds still.
Quails still fidget and struggle.
