They sure should, but the Buff ones rarely do...I am going to become a breeder of them in the fall and want to work on bringing that trait back into them!
That's the plan! Also am working on my own line of Buff Columbian Plymouth Rocks.
Why include the Sussex and Wyandotte?It will include Buff and Columbian Rocks, some Light Sussex, Columbian Wyandotte, and maybe some Buff Wyandotte.
Mainly because the buff and columbian rocks in Canada are pretty small birds so the Light Sussex will add size and the wyandottes have a stubby and uptight enough shape to eventually counteract the long rectangular one of the Sussex. One problem I'm having with sussex is that they are Wheaten based not Partridge like Columbian RocksWhy include the Sussex and Wyandotte?
