<3They grow so fast, oh and forgot to tell you they can fly at two weeks. My first batch of babies, went out to the garage one morning and they were all out of the brooder, exploring the garage. Took me an hour to get them back in. Now my brooder has a cover.
I didn't really want to because they can't see up/out as well now, they're so penned in looking now I'm afraid they'll get claustrophobic or something lol but they don't seem to be minding it
The silkies are not a problem at least but the other three can get pretty high if they exert themselves! You know I still can't believe they jump up on sticks and sleep on sticks and not in a little nest box..Congrats on the new chicks.
I have not read back and caught up yet...looks like you need to get them into a coop already...box is looking quite small.
Keep an eye out for real bloody poop aka Coccidiosis.
