Vote Yes on Proposition 2

I watched a program last night about how certain farm animals are being treated, and some of them are treated very badly. These animals are allowed to even move, their just crammed in to tight spaces for their whole life. We wouldn't allow our pets to live like this why should we do it to others. These factory companies just see these animals as egg and meat machines, not as individuals. Next month there will be a law that might be passed allowing these animals to not be confined in tight cages and allow some room to roam around. Its not right for this to go on, vote yes on this law. I know that many people are now buying only free range eggs or cage free products which is a good step etc.
I Hope you will see this link as an important topic it just takes a few mintues and can change how these animals lives are being treated forever.

If the distance is truly 5 sq. feet per bird, I would be in violation of this law. We free range during the day but are locked up at night for safety. I think my two girls in the backyard have got it good!

i think there is pros and cons to this....

some of the animals that are raised for food are kept in conditions that i would consider less then ideal.

I would like to see a few less birds in the cages...and the sows have more room...

the idea is a sound idea but needs a little ..."tweeking"

Proposition2 is flawed and must be stopped. It is being pushed by groups with agendas to eliminate livestock production and meat consumption. It will decimate the poultry industry in California.

I see good and bad in this I can see for the need of a little better facilities and maybe a few more rules. But remember when you watch there videos you see the worst of everything some of those problems have already been replaced with new technology

hmm. it'll pass probably. leading to everyone becoming vegetarians. all the meat industry/egg production will be shut down.. Then people will start farming it themselves.. from there the goverment will get mad about them not getting the money from it. make it illegal. and voila. we have no cows. chickens. horses or anything.. We'll have to go chinese and eat cats. rats. and dogs

No one needs to eat meat. If you combine the proper grains, you get more than enough protein. Plus, you can live to an old age with no heart attacks.
