VSB (Automatic door open/closer)

Please help, I have a VSB on my hen house but it has stopped working properly. When it pulls the door up in the morning it doesn't stop and keeps going I tied a knot in the string to stop it going any further but it just snaps it eventually through the stress. Does anyone know how to fix it or where I can get it fixed. Thanks x

That's no good. I don't have an auto door yet. Try contacting the place where you bought it for advice.

You want to restring it so that when it is turning in this direction it is releasing string, i.e. closing the door when it is moving in the direction that previously caused it to open.
