Vultures again

I just read that Black Vultures will attack and kill live animals including calves. I didn't know this.

black vultures will take live animals, turkey vultures will not so you are correct there !

I think if they were to go after a calf then the calf is prob. down and sickly, near dead

They're all doing good! We've been shooting the vultures with BB guns, not as many are coming. We're down to about ten who are brave enough to stand on the fence.

I'm glad to hear they are dwindling down in number and that everyone is doing good. Hopefully when cold weather sets in they won't start showing back up looking for a free meal.

They're nesting in the trees behind our yard. They've always been there, they just didn't have a reason to come out.
