Vultures taking eggs?

Vultures are designed by nature to feed on large dead carcasses. This is why they have naked heads. They need to plunge their heads deep into a large, bloody carcass to feed. They evolved a smooth head to facilitate feeding and not come away from dinner wearing most of their meal on their heads.

However, black vultures are known to occasionally attack and eat small prey.

Eggs are not on their food list. Not raw and bloody enough.
