Wacko Geko Quilt Block Swap-SIGN-UP CLOSED

Chemo brain that one flew right over my head!! The toes aren't as bad as those danged feathers we did on another project!

I've got mine cut!! I've got to figure out how to use my new sewing maching before I can start stitching, lol.

I've got to finish a baby quilt by the 5th too. Need to find the instruction book!!

Betty, Got your blocks today!!

I am ready to sew this evening.. I made a few test swatches so I can try different stitches before sewing on the actual swap squares. My machine is new too and I am not sure which stitch I am going to like. I also want to get comfortable with sewing the stitch around curves etc.

Hello everyone....Coyote, babymakes6, Zookeeper, ChevygirlBeth and all the newbies (to me anyways) lol.

I sure hate that I missed this swap, those gecho's look mighty cute!!!!!

I have a Frugal Patch Swap going now, so if you have time sign up...blocks arent' due until Sept.

P.S.--I have missed you all very much. We have seen some heavy-heartedness times here. Not looking for simpathy, just prayers. God is good....ALL the time. I have prayed for you all each time I thought of you. I have stayed in contact with gonbart on almost a daily basis. CedarRidgeChicks still needs all of the prayers you all can pray for her. To make a long story short........

I'M BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

and ready to get to quilting , sewing, or just piddlin' trying to make something. lol. <3

I think I'm going to trace the gecko pattern on wax paper and then iron it to my fabric so it sticks, then cut it out. Eliminates pins and shifting. These fabrics I have are going to look fantastic as little geckos.
