Wading pool tips

We have a baby pool for swimming and a 20 gallon bucket for drinking (also shared by a pygmy- nubian goat). They can't get in to poo. I put 2 tbs of ACV to keep the bucket from sliming. Do the same with the dog water and it seems to keep fleas away on the dogs. Put 1/4 cup in the baby pool (geese make their own slime but skeeters don't like it). I have 4 geese and change it every three days when I cannot see the bottom of the pool. Unless it is breeding season, pools are not actually needed, but they sure make the day for a goose fun!
