Waiting for my girls ...

Ahh they're sooo cute!!! I have 2 girls arriving from Metzer soon too! May 2nd they'll be here. Im so worried having them travel that far because I live in CT but it makes me feel better that yours arrived fine to PA! Enjoy!!

Yes I was so worried too. They were shipped late afternoon on Monday and arrived Wednesday morning but didn’t get on the morning truck to the local post office so I was freaking. Luckily they had a noon truck and I got the call by 1:00. Metzer said 90% of there orders arrive by Wednesday morning so I think your babies will be just fine. It so hard waiting, hang in there. They are so tiny

I heard that most arrive around 6-8 am Wednesday but may miss the morning truck like yours did so thats perfectly fine. I'm just going to be a nervous wreck once they ship.. Did Metzer send you a tracking number or anything? I read that they won't contact you at all even when they ship? And I am getting two girls, a saxony, and a Fawn & White runner! Thanks for the info!

Awww..... Yes, they sent me an email when they were shipped with a tracking number. I kept checking my email all day long and kept forgetting they are three hours behind us. So I finally got the email around 6:30pm. The tracking number didn’t give a whole lot of info like I was hoping, I signed up for text message updates. I got a text that they arrived FINALLY arrived at my post office followed by another text that said they would be delivered on Thursday.
I didn’t freak because I just got the call from the post office that they were ready. I had called them ahead of time to let them know they’d be coming. It’s such a fun time and I hate to go into work. They grow so fast if you blink you’ll miss out. Good luck and keep me posted on your babies

That's awesome, I'm glad everything went well for you! They sure do grow fast.. I will for sure post pictures when my two arrive.. Keep updates on yours as well, I'd love to hear how they're doing! Thanks for the information, enjoy your little ones!!

They are finally here. I got two Buff girls from Metzer. My husband came home with 8 pekins last year from Tractor Supply. I had no idea he was even thinking about getting ducks. What a surprise that was.
I’m down to 3 because we had mostly Drakes. It was hard to give one on one attention to 8 at a time. I’m so excited this time because I will be able to tame them so much easier than having 8. They are eating and drinking non stop.

Haha!!! My friend from work got me a card, flowers and a It’s a Girl balloon. I’ll never forget the comment a woman wrote on this board......
