waiting for the arrival @_@

hello all,
I'm hoping to soon be a first time chicken mommy, and I can't help but to be very anxious about their arrival. I've got a brooder and all the other necessary supplies, but am getting nervous about them being shipped in the mail @_@ I ordered a small number, but the hatchery is close by, so I'm hoping to not experience a lot of dead loss... the hatchery does ship with a heating element so I'm hopeful.

don't worry

(like thats ever going to happen) I got my first chicks from meyer hatchery in october they were great. Chickens are the best you will love them. I got 8 and they were fine one turned out to be a rooster so I gave him to my uncle. Welcome BYC is great for first time chicken owner.
