Waiting on shipped eggs - how long?

I have two batches of eggs I am trying to set together in the incubator. Got one batch yesterday and expected the other today....figured I would leave sitting overnight and then set tomorrow AM. I think first batch was from monday laying and second batch from Tuesday laying.

Today's shipment of eggs appear to be lost........maybe they will appear tomorrow, maybe they won't, who knows. But if I put the first batch of eggs today, and then the others show up tomorrow or monday...what then?

I only have one bator, so......? I could stagger hatches but then there will be eggs sitting unturned for multiple days during lockdown and "hatching" (assuming they do hatch).

How much longer can I wait on the eggs I got yesterday? I'll be out of town all day tomorrow, so even if they showed midday, they will be sitting in a box in the carport until late evening before I was even around to unpack.

Okay the eggs arrived after all! guess my mail service was running late

Now....I am hoping to get them in the bator and set with a stable temp for a few hours before I have to leave for all day tomorrow. I know I am supposed to let them settle a bit. When is the soonest I can get them in the bator?

eta: the bator is up and running since a couple days ago. just waiting for eggs!
