The mid-day sun shone brightly into the clearing of the packlands. a shadow came over the grass as Soul flew overhead. By the time kisha had looked up, the shadow-casting creature had gone. she resolved to think it was a bird. Soul scanned the landscape, searching for the tell-tale glows of the Wandering Souls.
