Clyde nuzzled her.
IceFire laughed. "good morning" she said sleepily, then yawned again.

Clyde smiled. "How are you?" he asked, yawning.
"good" ice smiled. she stood and stretched, flexing her cramped muscles. "how long did i sleep for?" she asked. it must have been a while with how stiff she felt.
"Long enough," he chuckled. He stood up, stretching.
Ice walked to the edge of the ledge out the front of the cave, and gasped at what she saw. the rain had kept pouring down overnight, and the packland was beginning to flood again. "oh no" she said.

"yes, and you need to realise that you are loved" she said, smiling at him. "the other guardians respect you, not hate. and the mortal wolves do not fear you, they welcome you, to guide them peacably to Place of No Moon or Moonpack. and you have Cross, and two wonderful pups" she looked away again. " those are things that some of the other guardians could only wish for."
Death sighed "You meant I used to have Cross and my pups they left and are never coming back" said Death "And don't try and bring her back because she was right I I'm a fool" said Death "A fool to be in love with her"

Quote: Mistress laughed. "that's insane. you'd be a fool not to love her. she may be mad with you, but deep down, you are still her mate, and still the father of her pups. you just need to find her and let your heart do the talking." she shrunk herself sown to his size and poked him in the chest with her paw. "you may not know what to tell her or how to do it, but your heart has all the right words." she stood up. "find her, let your heart speak, and be patient. remember you have something that is very hard to find for most wolves."

Death sighed "But that's the problem. I'm not in love with Cross anymore" said Death "My heart has chosen someone else and I know I can't do it" said Death "She already told me she loves me, and I feel the same way"

Quote: Mistress changed to her full size again. "then tell her how you feel. being a guardian doesn't restrict you, it just allows you to do good with your abilities. you are still allowed to love whoever you want." she smiled at him again. "and i'm sure she'll appreciate you coming to her." she knew exactly who he liked, and exactly how she would feel about him.

Death then sighed "No I want to but I know Moonpack wouldn't be happy" said Death "It's.... Life" said Death "I'm in love with Life" said Death again.

"no, it isn't" ice said, worried. "yesterday Kisha had a vision of some wolves killed in a flood, and generally when she has vision they come true. but this one hasn't happened yet" she started making her way down to Kisha's cave.
