Moondrop led him to the spot where her sense of curiosity had turned to fear. "Here," she said. "It was right here." The clearing was larger than she remembered it, but yet again, she hadn't really observed it that well.

Genba stoped at the spot "Oh i remeber this place this is were Hougen and I went to talk"said Genba

Moondrop tilted her head. "What?" she asked. She suddenly had a buzzing in her ears. It was faint, but she could hear it. Where she had stepped felt hot. "Ow!" she yelped.

Koa smiled back. Her one eye was open all the way, but she couldn't seem to get the other one facing the wall of the den open. She her "donkey face" at Winter.

Winter laughed trying to stay quiet not wanting to wake Basi.

Koa looked sadly down at her leg. Would she ever be able to walk again? she thought. Then a horrible thought struck her mind. What if soon, I will be walking around with only 3 legs? Koa whined and felt a mixture of fear and hopelessness rise inside of her.

She smiled at Winter, trying to hide her feelings.

Moondrop, despite the intense heat coming from the spot, began to dig. She dug deeper and deeper, until she reached a think layer of ice. "So this is a pond," she murmured to Genba. Then she wiped off a few more layers of snow, and looked at the ice. She expected something to happen. And something did happen. A red eye opened. Moondrop stared, eyes getting wider, and then told Genba, "Run."

Hougen went to he's den to sleep "why i'm I so grumpy today" thought Hougen

Moondrop desperately Shoved the snow back into it's spot and ran as fast as she could, keeping Genba in sight.
