Moondrop, despite the intense heat coming from the spot, began to dig. She dug deeper and deeper, until she reached a think layer of ice. "So this is a pond," she murmured to Genba. Then she wiped off a few more layers of snow, and looked at the ice. She expected something to happen. And something did happen. A red eye opened. Moondrop stared, eyes getting wider, and then told Genba, "Run."

Genba ran "What was that moondrop" said Genba with shock in his voice

Nearby, another wolf watched Moondrop and Genba. She had long, bushy fur and dark eyes; alive with the heat of an oncoming war. Markings covered her legs, and her fur seemed nicked and matted; scars of many battles. She gave a roar/bark, and bounded towards the red eye with secret intentions of protecting her friends but passing it as a selfless act.

(I'm incredibly bored XD )

"I.. I don't know," she said, gasping for air. The eye had looked mammal like, but it had a touch of monterness in it, almost reptilian monsterness.

She smiled at Winter, trying to hide her feelings.

"Are you o-o...." Winter said before scampering off.

Moondrop thought she heard a growl before she started running. Fear and dread crossed her mind. It had been a protective growl. "Oh-no," Moondrop said. "Genba, I need you to stay here. Don't worry about me, I'll be fine," she said to Genba. Then she sprinted between the trees, not knowing what to expect next.

Koa smiled at the little pup. Their lives are so busy she thought.

Genba gasped for air "I haven't ran like that for days" said Genba

Moondrop ran and saw the other battle-scarred wolf. "Don't attack it, it might rise from the pond," she said, unsure weather to treat the new wolf as a friend or a foe.

Koa decided to limp on her three good feet. She stood up, leaning against the wall. "Hey! I'm up!" she said happily.
