(I'll tell you about my first pet. a rat, named cookie, the cutest thing you ever saw. she could do tricks, and i bought a ferret ball for her, but i never got to use it. she got really sick, dying, and i wanted to take her to the vet, but mum wouldn't let me, so she just died slowly and painfully. mum said it wasn't worth taking her to the vet because with the money i would have to spend i could just buy a new one but she never let me have another pet. while cookie was dying, dad suggested crushing her with a rock to help her die quicker and with less pain, but i wouldn't let him. you never get over things like that.....)
