Moondrop's white belly brushed the soft snow beneath her feet. She found moose tracks. "Terra! I found moose tracks!" she whispered.

She padded up behind her and rolled in the snow. The snow balled up in her fur, turning it white, as she crept up next to her friend.

Moondrop followed the tracks, careful not to make any noise. She saw a mother and her calf. The calf seemed week, and the mother starving. "I'll distrack the mother while you get the calf. After you kill it, we'll get the moose together. I probably won't be able to take the mother down by myself," Moondrop whispered.

"Ok" she said, stalking simently behind the calf, mostly invisible because of the snow.

Moondrop slowly appeared and growled at the mother. She nipped her leg. The mother seemed infuriated. Moondrop yelped. The moose charged. "Now!" she yelled to Terra.

She leapt onto the calf. It bellowed weakly and fell. She bit it, crushing it's windpipe without bursting the Jugular.

Moondrop annoyed the moose. She would stand in one place, growl, the moose would charge and miss.

Finally, the moose just charged in every direction. Moondrop had been waiting for this to happen. She pounced on her back, and grabbed hold of her neck.
