Moondrop slowly walked from the den Koa was sleeping in with Basi and Winter. She stretched. Then she looked around camp. No one seemed awake yet. She trotted off into the woods, looking for a rabbit. Quickly, she found its trail. She killed it, walked back to camp, and sat down to eat.

Koa yawned. Her energy felt restored, but she was still beaten up. She smiled at the little kits who were sleeping under her chin. She softly licked them both.

Moondrop wandered into Terra's den, and looked at Koa. "Hungry?" she whispered, so as not to wake the pups.

"Very," said Koa. She seemed to have lots her hyperness after the attack.
