Genba and Hougen walked off to a river to talk

Falka and Hila thought about following them so they did and listened to what they said

Sorren scampered behind them, eager to listen.

He smiled. "Shakira, I love you" he said, his eyes soft. "Would you be my-my..." he stammered. "My mate?" he asked, worried she'd say no, afraid of rejection.

Shakira froze. Her eyes twinkled. Her lips slowly formed a smile. "You really do love me, don't you?" she asked softly. Then without waiting for a reply, she pounced on him playfully, licking his face. "Yes! Yes yes yes!" she said. Love, excitement, and happiness filled her up.

When Hougen and Genba got to the River they looked at the sky "You know Shako is dangerous and we need the next bear wolves too?"said Hougen.

Genba nodded "We both know Falka and Hila are true bear wolves but Sorren he's.."Genba looked at Hougen "Hougen we need to train the next bear wolves so if we do die without killing Shako they will kill him for us"said Genba.

Hougen nodded "And my pups I need to know if any have bear wolf blood in them"said Hougen

Genba nodded "And Mika too"said Genba


Hila and Falka understood now Hougen and Genba weren't mad they were trying to think about training them

Sorren drooped his ears. He was useless. He trotted off, tears blurring his vision. Megumi walked up to him. "What's wrong?" she asked gently. He looked up at her, tears in his eyes. He fell at Megumi's paws, crying. She patted him on the head. "It's ok," she said quietly.
