That still sounds quite difficult
It's actually way easier than you think.
Each day, I do 20,000 steps by lunchtime just around my house, doing chickens, dogs, cats. Feeding time at the zoo is constant walking. Then it's their lunchtime, another 2000 steps, then 3.30pm I repeat the morning so it works out between 40 k &45,000 steps.

We used to have a local walk here which stopped about 10 years ago, it was 32 klm (18 mile) between towns. We had 4-6 hours to complete it, it was so easy. When I first started (10 yrs old) it took me an my brother way over 6 hours, even with us running parts of it. Everyone had to stop at the checkpoints and get a drink, we never did. It was fun, I did the walk every year for 25 years, after my 3rd year, I did it in 5 hours, but once I was 18, I did it in 4 hours every time. :)
I wish we still had it, even with my back sore all the time, codeine works :) Now, I walk all day at home and when I do the markets

Oh wow that’s a lot of walking!!!

:) and it's accurate, I don't use a phone app which actually triples the steps, nor a Fitbit or smart watch, I have them but they're not accurate.
I have an actual pedometer that clips onto my socks. They're 100% foolproof. I've been using them for over 30 years.
Id like to challenge everyone to purchase a cheap pedometer, clip it on their socks and write the number daily and compare it to their phones/watches and share both totals.. I guarantee there will be a Huge jump digitally.

The pedometers are accurate.. :)

Perhaps it varies depending upon phone service? I 'count' steps, yeah it's one of my OCD traits. If anything there is a slight undercount by my phone.

Yeah, my phone way undercounts actually cause when I used to have a watch that counted steps, the phone would always be anywhere from 1,000 to 2,000 less. Now, I’m not sure if the watch overcounted or the phone undercounted LOL but yeah. It happened with two separate watches though so I’m leaning toward phone undercounting but I could be wrong.
