I think there is something wrong with the walmart Chicken feed - egg maker... I read about this yesterday, Then today I went and picked up two hens from a gale that said she started feeding her hens the walmart eggmaker and I noticed one of the hens has a messy behind and swolen looken and when she pooped it was diffacult for her... It looks like swollen hemroides... I put preparation-H on it.. I hope I can get the sweeling down before she has to lay an egg...
Meanwhile, you ought to keep your hen in the dark so that she doesn't produce an egg until she is healed. Then gradually reintroduce light. Good luck.
