No but my husband consistantly dreams he is back playing football in college and while he is making some great play he is thinking to himself "I'm over 60 years old, I shouldn't be able to do this!" He dreams this at least once a week. He will also wake up and think, "OH, I have to get to spring training..." Jocks.....

OMG! I dream about not remembering my locker combination all the time! I've been out of high school 30 years. My subconscious needs to get over it already!
I do think I dream more vividly if I am sleeping at an unusual time, i.e, a nap.
The other night I unknowingly kept my SO up all night. He said I got up three times because I was sure someone was knocking at the front door and twice I woke him up to ask him if he had farted.
This is a funny thread!
I have the high school locker dream still, even tho I grad in 1965. I don't think that one ever goes away.
Last night I dreamed that I was following some kind of animal and we ended up in someone's garden. It turned out to belong to a niece that I haven't seen for a long time (not a gardening type of person) and she was furious because the dogs and little kids that were with me were walking on her young plants. But then she asked us in for coffee, and we seemed to have a nice visit. Haven't a clue where that came from.
But, funny stuff aside, I come from a culture that takes dreams very seriously, and many other cultures do as well. There are different kinds of dreams, some just 'daydreams' and some are just your mind releasing stress and tension or replaying thoughts and events of the day. Then there are those dreams, some might call visions, that bring us into contact with the world in a more spiritual way. Those dreams don't come often, but are to be treasured as gifts.

My DH sometimes has Kosovo flashbacks from when he was stationed over therre. Sometimes when i get up at night he pushes me back down so i wont get shot,he thinks i am a PVT . When i managed to get up and came back from the bathroom i once got "shot" with his Zippo. He had to have it under his pillow , it made him sleep better, because he thought it was his weapon. He also tells me in his sleep about recuiting and thinks i am a recuiter, so i just say"ok, will do"
I don't have the locker number dream....I have the dream where I have to move into or out of my dorm room. The into dream consists of being late back to school, having to start classes and having no idea how to get into my dorm....the out of is just to opposite, school is over, I have to move everything out in one hour....
I also have the classic I have to take a final for a class I've never attended. Some how I've failed to drop some class and must sit the final.'
I've read that these are very classic anxiety type dreams.
I'm an active dreamer, so things seldom get too weird, or too scary, since I just change things. For the longest time I thought everyone could do this, and did not understand why people would be bothered by neightmares. I've since learned better, and have had a few bad dreams that I couldn't change.
