Wanna play guess the breed TSC ducklings?

I’m going to assume it’s safe to guess the middle (yellow/white) is a jumbo since it’s growing so much faster than the other 2?

You definitely have 1 khaki campbell, 2 pekins, and the other two are rouens

I found with mine the drake ducklings would dwarf the hens when growing. So that might be a early sign as to who's what. Also the girls are chatter boxes while the boys just kinda hang out.

I was wondering about that too (if it may be male vs female type thing). Nibbles (the huge one) seems to have trouble getting around like it’s just “too fat.” They are on duck feed and I had given it he B complex before I switched.

A few of them are definitely trying to get a quack going but I can’t figure out exactly who yet.

3 weeks old now and they’re getting huge fast!
I’m noticing that the 2 (mallards?) heads are looking different color wise from one another. Is this possibly indicative of sex? I guess time will tell. (The wait is hard! And I know I’m going to have some kids and a momma with a broken heart when/if we have to rehome some)

It is utterly ridiculous how fast they grow. We can go in a few hours later and visibly see they’re bigger. Nibbles (the biggun) was like 6.5ish lbs when I weighed it the other day (I had brought it in bc it had some blood from a feather that we were able to stop)

Please do. I’m loving seeing ducks In our state you have to buy min 6 for poultry at TSC, otherwise we would have only gotten 3 (or 4)
