No cheating...I promise! What is the breed guessing quiz? I was second guessing myself after Illia posted Wirehair Pointer. I posted the first breed I thought of. I always thought they had the most stunning eyes.

He's a beauty. I hope he works out!

Well he has a name now thanks to my 4 year old son. SNOOPY!
Of all the names that we could possibly name him it ends up being Snoopy.

My son said his name is Snoopy. Kept saying Snoopy, Snoopy, Snoopy... And it stuck!
We had Snoopy on a leash while he went around the house, just in case he got into something and we needed a quick way to get him off/out, and my son kept walking around with him. "Come here Snoopy. Good boy Snoopy. Hey Snoopy!"
Just to have fun with him we tried to mispronounce Snoopy and he corrected us.

Snoopy has also made himself right at home.
He is sleeping on my bed!

AND he has Hexe, my female GSD up here too cuddling with him.
My dogs do not get on the bed except for a quick pet and promptly they get off.
I know it is a conspiracy on their part.

At least Mace is using the "bed" I made for Snoopy.

With lots of training and growing up they would be great hunters. lol

my brother is a hunting fella and he has a " Wire Haired Pointing Griffin" just like yours and she is the smartest dog ever.
they have a small hobby farm with chickens and ducks and " Jager" will not bother them. but as soon as they go duck or grouse hunting, she is all business. Congratulations on finding him...

Glad to know We aren't the only ones out there with a hunting dog AND chickens. lol
I have been wanting to take him out to work with him on leaving them alone, but the weather is nasty. Tomorrow is supposed to be nice but windy. I can deal with wind and training. I just hate rain and cold.
I've been trying to join a gundog forum but they haven't accepted my registration yet.
